CLEMSON - For three years, Ron White shared the stage with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the cable guy on the road with the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” a show that played to sold-out audiences in over 90 cities and grossed more than $15 million dollars. Now, Ron White, arguably the slickest of the pack, stands alone headlining his own tour and making a stop at Littlejohn Coliseum, Wednesday, September 8, 2004.

Razor sharp and blunt, White makes fine art of the deadpan style. “White’s inspired comic mind finds a dozen sources of humor where the average comic would find only one or two,” writes Robert Koehler of the Daily Variety. His current comedy CD is in the top ten billboard comedy charts and his recent comedy special, “They Call Me Tater Salad” gave Comedy Central its highest rated Sunday in history. White’s popularity has soared since Warner Bros. premiered a movie of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour on Comedy Central, which was the most watched movie ever in the channel’s history. That DVD along with White's solo DVD release in June will propel sales for this major headline tour.

Rock 101 and 93.3 The Planet, two stations with a reputation for comedy madness, are presenting sponsors of the show and will orchestrate all promotional efforts and contests.
