The Australian band is one of the most popular Christian pop bands of the past 20 years. Newsboys is known for its live performances. The current tour is the first 100 percent LED lighted show, and features a unique video system known as “Pandora’s Box.” The lighting and video system is so complex, it takes a crew an entire day to set up for a show, said Greg D’Angio, booking manager for Littlejohn Coliseum.

Newsboys’ most recent album “GO” features the songs “Wherever I Go,” “GO,” “I Am Free” and the hit “Something Beautiful.” Since the band’s formation in 1985, it has amassed five gold albums, sales exceeding six million units, more than 20 No. 1 radio hits and a mantle of Dove Awards and Grammy nominations.
