Luke Bryan is widely known for his country album, “I’ll Stay Me” and his hit single, “All My Friends Say.”
Derby Days is sponsored by the university’s Eta Psi chapter of Sigma Chi fraternity. Sigma Chi will host events such as bowling, karaoke, a dance competition and the concert with all proceeds going to the Children’s Miracle Network.
“The purpose of Derby Days is to bring together members from all parts of the Clemson community in order to raise money for a local charity,” said Charlie Coffaro, Sigma Chi Derby Days chairman.
Derby Days is a 20-year-old tradition at Clemson and has been one of the most profitable fundraisers for the Children’s Miracle Network. Last year the event was the seventh-largest contributor to the local charity, raising a total of $35,000.
“We (Sigma Chi) proudly represent the Clemson spirit to the community and hope to break our record contribution from last year,” said Coffaro.
